Library Information Services during COVID-19: Student Help and Services

Here our patron will find the most up-to-date information about Library Services.

Library and 24/7 Computer Lab Access

www.lincoln.edu/departments/langston-hughes-memorial-library

LHML is following the university's guidance to protect the health and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff.   At this time, we are allowing only limited access to our building.  You can visit the Circulation Desk and 24/7 computer area during our "in person" hours.   In spite of the limited building access, someone is always available to assist and support your teaching and learning.  Please take advantage of the help we can provide online  through our "Chat with Us" platform.

Beyond LHML Resouces

Lincoln students, faculty, and staff may request to borrow material from other libraries when Langston Hughes Memorial Library does not own the material. Request an ILL item.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) refers to the cooperative arrangement of libraries to globally share resources physically and electronically. National and local interlibrary loan codes usually preclude libraries from borrowing and lending the following materials:
  • Books published within the last 12 months
  • Textbook and readings required for current courses
  • Material owned by Langston Hughes Memorial Library
  • Certain non-print materials
Contact Ms. Bonnie Horn, Interlibrary Loan Technician, at 484-365-7356 for additional information about ILL.

Use WorldCat to get information on the book you want to request via ILL.

LU Student Technology Need
