Criminal Justice System

The three major components of the criminal justice system are:

Law Enforcement

Police patrol communities in order to curb crimes. They investigate crime incidences and scenes, and arrest individuals suspected of violating the law.

Courts System

The court consists of attorneys, judges and juries. The guilt or innocence of the offender is determined in the law court.

Corrections System

The corrections system consist all format of punishment- which could be in the form of incarceration as well as probation.
