Writing Proficiency Program

Writing Proficiency Program @ Lincoln
The WPP is a university-wide program designed to ensure that students can write proficiently before they graduate and enter graduate school, a professional setting, or the workforce. All Lincoln University students must complete all components of the WPP before they can graduate from Lincoln University. This degree requirement must be fulfilled before students are awarded their diploma.

The Writing & Reading Center is open for Fall 2022

It has three major tasks
1) Supporting Lincoln University students in writing courses and others
2) Providing support to all LU students in all writing courses at all levels
3) Coordinating the preparation & submission of the Writing Proficiency Portfolio requirement.

The Lincoln University Writing and Reading Center offers free tutoring services to all students, all majors, and at all stages of the writing process. Our staff of tutors is dedicated to offering the students the highest standard in academic excellence in tutoring writing and reading.
